Which steam generator iron?

I have used the search facility but these things seem to move onto 'newer, better' models quite quickly and it looks like a while since anything was posted.
My DD has requested a steam generator iron for Christmas (bless)
I have spent the last week looking up reviews for heaps of them and I'm thoroughly confused, so a little help would be very much appreciated.
I have a fairly low budget (sadly) but would like the best possible for around £100. So far I've found the Breville VIN170 at £99 and a Hoover SRD4110 at £108........ what do you think?
