I've come to realise that I need to organise my food supplies. I have an ok sized cupboard for food but can't seem to make it work. I am thinking of moving the lot into the utillty room and starting again.
I've been Google searching but am only getting photos from websites selling pantry set ups. These "pantries" only have about 10 different items in.
Something that works for an actual real family would be better.
So I'm putting out a plea to all of you OSer's. Please post your photos, so that I (and probably lots of other newbies) can get some ideas.
Thanks so much

just use narrow shelves in the cupboard under the stairs and row upon row of boxes or jars on the shelves or in any cupboard you can find. Also utilise under the bed space, wardrobe space, top of kitchen cupboards and if really pushed, then behind the plinth under the kitchen cupboards. Some people use the under bath space as well. Not many people are lucky enough to have pantries0

Old stylers are not just googled people though!
I have to say, as someone planning a kitchen now, pictures of old style kitchen sorage would be really useful to me too.0 -
My grandma's pantry was a thick walled cupboard with the heaviest blue door, in the kitchen. It was a very cold kitchen anyway, but the pantry was freezing. Her shelves where only spaced at about 10 inches apart but she had shelving going from the left, round the back and through the the right and had shelving from the bottom to the highest part possible. It wasn't very big but you could stand in it with shelving every side of you.
When I get my own house I will be making myself a pantry just like what my grandma had. She could get so much more in there than what I can get in my rented house's kitchen cupboards on the wall.0 -
My pantry is the cupboard under the stairs which happens to be in the kitchen. We had very narrow shelving put in along one side, with a wine rack (now empty!) at the back where it's too low. However it's way too full and messy to be taking a photo of it!0

For best use of space, pantries should have fairly shallow shelves, anything more than about 9" is a waist, as you end up not being able to reach the stuff at the back. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0
