can anyone recommend one before i go ahead with purchasing a zanussi from john lewis @ £240? with 2 years guarantee.

doesn't need any special features, just clean well and be efficient.

I have a Bosch, the one thing I really like about it is the timer. I fill the dishwasher during the day then before bed set it to come on at about five in the morning. It saves on leccy and the washing up is done before I get up! I also like the fact that I can collapse the plate rack in the bottom drawer so I can fit awkward pans in.

I too have a Bosch. Our last one was a Zanussi though and it lasted for donkey's years. We chose a Bosch this time as the offer was good but wouldn't be afraid of Zanussi if you've got a good deal
