Debt with Paypal (genuine one)

Hi all,
I'm struggling with gambling addiction. My bank account is empty, yet I managed to deposit about 1000 pounds in total to a betting site via Paypal because of the delay with direct debit.
I tried researching the subject but most of those cases don't apply to me, as this is not a case of fraud or misunderstanding.
So now I wait for Paypal to react. What can I do? If I don't have the money to repay them right away would that mean ultimately going to court?
I also took out several 'payday' loans that are due to be paid roughly in a month. I am looking to taking a debt management plan. Could the money I owe to paypal be somehow incorporated in the plan?
This is the first time in my life that I'm in debt. It happened very fast and in my gambling frenzy I just forgot the value of money. I was on the verge but right now I'm focused and just want to get my affairs in order so I don't fear tomorrow..
I'm also a student...

Right... calm down first and foremost. Easiest thing I found was to speak to the CCCS and they'll give you some honest advice on what to do, who to contact etc.
I am where you are. I gambled thousands and living where I do it's impossible to avoid. We have 2 racecourses on our doorstep. No excuses though. I was stupid.
Be up front and frank with them is all i'd say.Back in the game...0 -
Unfortunately this could be seen as fraud and I'm not sure Paypal accept DMPs. Best off giving CCCS a ring, they're awesome.
Have you sought help for your addiction?

So I contacted CCCS as advised and they were very helpful. I am going to have a debt management plan set up. Don't know yet what's going to happen with Paypal, but I have Legal Services number in handy.
I am going to attend a local Gamblers Anonymous meeting. Also there is a free counselling service that I think I'll try0
