I'm preparing a new CV and cover letters for my Wife who is looking for a full time rather than part time job as her current employer is unable to offer a full time position.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good CV/Cover letter template.

Use the one on Direct.Gov/jobseekers website - it may not be "the best" but it is standardised

http://www.prospects.ac.uk/example_cvs.htm gives examples of chronological, skills based, and academic plus examples of covering letters

Remember to always link the CV /covering to the actual job rather than just sending the same one to every employer.

There are a wide and varied selection of sites who have free information on this subject. Either type in "CV or Resume" to Google or visit the government website and you will get the guidance you need in order to prepare yourself for future job applications.
