Thanks Lakshmi, won the runner up prize from this comp, the goody bag RRP £60

However was quite disappointed as my 6 year old is WWE obsessive so waitied with baited breath for the prize to arrive and the bag contained..... wait for it........... 4 packs of popcorn, an ice cream scoop, pizza cutter, napkins, 4x plastic tumblers and a pack of balloons??

Cant see how that can possibly add up to £60 but hey ho cant complain I suppose.

Thanks again

Congrats! But you can complain! Many a time have people received goody bags with RRP of £xx yet it's nowhere near in reality. Contact the IPM and ask them if they think it's worth £60. Depending on what size bags of popcorn - I could pick everything else up at my local £1 shop - with a grand total of £5 :(

I would definitely question it - take pictures of the items and send them too. Hope you get somewhere with it xx

Wasnt sure whether to do this as it seems rather ungrateful but might be worth a try, I at least hoped there would be a DVD or some sort for DS :D

It's not ungrateful hunnie. If they've stated it's worth £60 then it should be worth £60. I won a prize back last year and it was worth £1,250 - yet on receiving the items (they were electrical goods) found 95% to be ex-display or ex-stock. I had a Wii that had obviously been used (saved profiles), a negative scanner that was missing the installation disk and a few other little problems (which I let go). I fought for the Wii and scanner though - had a cash payment of £130 to get another Wii from place of my choice, and, after six months!!!, finally managed to get £120 of Boots points put onto my card to replace the scanner.

That was a nightmare and I wished I had gone through the IPM.

    Best of luck hun :)

I received a prize earlier this year advertised as being worth £60. What I received was barely £20 at a push! I complained and they did send me more but this still didn't add up. You should complain but don't hold your breath! They are running another comp for the goody bag I won but I won't be entering again! Good luck! :)
Thanks to all those fab compers who post:j:T

I agree with everyone here - you should definitely contact the promoter! No harm in trying :)
