From doing it myself, you need;
A good, even foundation base (matt finish) including good lightening around the eyes.
Add a fine line of liquid eyeliner to the upper lashes and a darkish neutral shadow, such as a coffee brown shade following that, with a small amount brought onto the lower lash line.
Mascara.
A neutral lipstick/gloss with a slight sheen.
Job done. I just wish I looked like my passport photo ordinarily.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

That sounds like the result i want exactly! And if i can take and send to passpic that spunds the MSE solution!
Thank you everybody, it really is appreciated!

That sounds like just the result i am after. Even better if we can snap at hime and send to somewhere on line to print. I like the sound of this, because if i end up troweling on the makeup i am not seen in public looking like coco the clown!0 -
Go and have some photos taken in a booth, assess what about your make up is not working, take the photos to the make up counter, back to the booth when done ....Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I've done several passport photos at home and they have always been accepted by the Passport Office.
Just read up what is required on the .gov website and get one taken to your satisfaction.
Find a friend or neighbour who can crop the photo to just include your face and neck and resize it to the required dimensions. Then print it on photo quality paper.
It's a simple job to anyone who uses a digital camera and prints their own photos and certainly not worth the hassle and expense of endless trips to a photo booth. Your friend may feel flattered to be asked, but might charge you a cup of coffee and a cream cake while doing the job!0 -

I have images of me serting up every lamp in the house against our what wall now for optimal lighting!:rotfl:I thought you could but I've just checked the website and it says "Be printed in a booth or studio - photographs printed at home are unlikely to be of sufficient quality."
I don't know if they mean using a normal home printer and if ones you get printed in shops are ok? I know Kodak booths in shops are high quality.
I've been printing passport photos at home for years, never had any rejected.
I have a little HP photo printer like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/ctg/HP-Photosmart-A618-Digital-Photo-Inkjet-Printer-/78057433?_refkw=hp+photosmart+printer&_pcatid=561&_pcategid=162480&_dmpt=UK_CamerasPhoto_Printers_Printers_JN
And I use good quality Kodak paper. The beauty is you can keeptrying until you find a pic you like.
My DD, although pretty in real life, is particularly un-photogenic, I would never take her to a booth or a studio, it would be a disaster.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
