Hi,
can any of you tell me the difference in intermediate 1 and 2 qualifications? as in is intermediate 1 less than the old o'level standard?
Sorry old school here and finding it hard to understand, I am in Scotland if this makes a difference.
Thanks.

It depends on which qualifications scale that you are referring to.
IF NVQ, level 2 is equal to a GCE O'level or GCSE grades A-C0 -

A higher is 24 credits at level 6.

Intermediates are the senior equivalents of Standard Grades, which you would do in 5th & 6th year - here's a rough guess of where it would equate to
Intermediate 2 A - S.Grade 1
Intermediate 2 B - S.Grade 1/2
Intermediate 2 C - S.Grade 2
Intermediate 2 D - S.Grade 2/3
Intermediate 1 A - S.Grade 3
Intermediate 1 B - S.Grade 3/4
Intermediate 1 C - S.Grade 4
Intermediate 1 D - S.Grade 4/5
