Sometimes, when I get a joke/story sent to me, TB won't display the pictures associated with the text - it just puts them all at the end.
They display correctly when I view them on my iPhone

I was going to suggest View Message as original HTML but having looked at Santers link all the other possibilities appear to be there too.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Thanks ... but ... no joy
Maybe this suggestion?
<<Bottom line - it doesn't work. If you want to see your images inline without having to click on every stinkin' one, use a different client. Until Mozilla comes out with an add-in, everything you will read on the net does not work. This client is garbage.>>

I've looked at the site and checked my settings, but I can see no mention of anything allowing or denying T/B
It's no different BTW

Where is Thunderbird collecting e-mail from?
Mine is Yahoo and the pictures are fine
If Defender wasn't sure of anything it would show a pop up with options, if you haven't had that then it is probably OK with Thunderbird.
If you click tool, options, security, anti virus, is anything ticked there, mine isn't0
