Our free Haven holidays...............Eating out vouchers?

I am off to Hopton on 16th April.
1st question is...........who is going at the same time?, 2nd is do you want to meet up?

The next is an idea of posting a collection of eating out vouchers / discounts for each area of the free holiday, possibly keeping to the park/area we are visiting.
I am off to Dr's in a while so can't do much now, but have found Harry Ramsden are offering 25% off (eat-in) and Brewers fayre £5 off a meal for 2, to start the ball rolling.
Also will do a Tesco clubcard search when I get back, maybe able to use some deals while we are there, if there is time to cash them in that is.

We have been to the Devon Cliffs Haven site over the last few years,not to sure if the other sites are the same,But they do buffets for Breakfast,Lunch & Tea.

You buy a ticket,get your plate/bowl & have unlimited trips up to the buffet,once the plate is empty send another member of the family up or go back yourself & all eat from the same plate.:beer:

We saved ourselves a bit by buying a childs plate & an adults then the 5 of us tucked into Pizza,Breakfast etc..

There is a Beefeater down the road from Hopton, also a Morrisons which has cheap meals

Hopton is great oue fave place to go - take tennis rackets as a court there and backs onto a beach so buckets n spade too!

Pleasurewood Hills is nearby and you can use tesco clubcard vouchers online but need to do it soon as quite close in time make sure it's open think it opened at Easter. Also a Tescos close to Pleasurewood Hills with cheap meals and food.
Also a sealife along the front at Yarmouth and lots of kids go free vouchers around - one adult take ours in while another shops/rests etc but you need to check out the terms of th voucher.
We always go to the tourist board in Yarmouth and get leaflets etc as many have vouchers inside and also at reception at the camp there are offers too.

There is a post office just before you drive into the camp so if you need anything that's easy.
Have a google online as there is a site which does bogof for trips etc.

There are various museums but depends on your tastes!

If not meals are cheap at Yarmouth anyway as lots of large family run places with 3 course meals for £5 etc

Hiya don't know if you have kids but just got a newsletter in the post from Redwings horse sanctuary to say it now has free entry for all
It's a place full of donkeys and horses and a cafe etc with shop good place to lose a few hours and let kids let off steam

We're going to haggerston castle in October has anyone been and if so whats good to do near by?

Haggerston - Went in July, Lots of NT places nearby, some are excellent :
Holy Island, across the causeway, Farne Islands take a hat the gulls in July had a habit of diving at people - have to pay for the boat, Cragside very very picturesque bit of a journey but a good day out

Also Alnwick Castle was good (Harry Potters Castle) good dressing up and other bits and pieces

Dont know if they are all open in October but deals can be found on the boards for NT and Alnwick Castle can use Tesco vouches

If you manage to pick up a local advertiser paper, there is always tokens for BOGOF meals at fatsos in Yarmouth, (nice american meals), usually some others too.
