Mortgage ppi reclaim on together mortgage

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me. We took out a together mortgage with Northern Rock in 2003 and were told by the lady in the branch i needed ppi on both parts the mortgage and loan part of it as it was our 1st mortgage and its unlikely to be approved otherwise. She also got us to take out home insurance with us and i never knew i could shop around for this. We went to a new provider in 2006 so they were paid off. I want to claim mis-sold ppi but do not know where to start with it being a together mortgage and seperate home insurance.

I have account number here for mortgage but not for home
e insurance. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

Lainey

There is no requirement to be told that.

What evidence do you have to support your allegation? You can bet your life they have nothing to support your allegation. So, unless you have evidence you would expect your complaint to be rejected unless there is another failing.

You have no chance of success on the home insurance front.

The home insurance is a non starter, you don't have a valid complaint and buildings insurance is mandatory.

You also wont have any proof about the PPI, so that's unlikely to get anywhere.
