Career advice for a 42 yr old?

Can I ask for ideas on where I can get career advice -I'm 42 years old have hit a kind of brick wall at the moment.

I seem to have bumbled from one job to another in the last few years all in different industries due to either redundancy so I haven't really mastered any particular industry

First thing to look at is why you have left these jobs and that type of work and then maybe you/we can figure out what the problem is. For me, after being in the Army I found monotonous routine of 9-5 a nightmare prospect so I went wagon driving for agencies and also self employed.

In fact, if you can't settle down with one employer then working for an agency on short term contracts is ideal - you maintain one employer, the agency, but you get to work in different jobs and changing regularly. Downside is no guarantee of continuous work but you've not got that now.
