Hi all!
I had a notion for a bottle of sherry recently:rotfl:
I bought a bottle of Q.C. sherry from Tesco, but when I tried it, it was awful, sweet and sickly and didn't taste or smell like sherry at all:p
Am I within my rights to return it and exchange it for another bottle of sherry? Or is this just down to the fact that I personally didn't like the taste of it and someone else might very well love it?
Thanks in advance:beer:

They will only do it with a receipt as its a branded item and they have no idea where you have bought it from.

Besides, QC sherry is only drunk by over 75s! Another one to avoid is Tudor Rose

You have no right to return it just because you don't like it. They may exchange it, but this will just be a goodwill gesture on their part.

I think the OP has every right to return it,they are saying there is something wrong with the Sherry not that they dont like it,remember the antifreeze in wine stories ? You can never be too careful. It does happen with spirits too we like Aldi's Kentucky bourbon, had lots of it over the years then had one bottle that "just wasnt right" returned it and got a replacement no problem.

They might exchange it for a replacement of the same type.
If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 7555

If you're saying it was 'bad' then they might exchange it for another bottle of the same sherry. But if you're saying you didn't like that brand of sherry and want to exchange it for another brand, then of course they won't accept the return.

Sorry, but QC sherry is sweet and sickly, it's just not to your taste, keep it and give it to your friends at Christmas.:D

Or you could carry on reading the post until you get to this sentence.

Or you could read the post and see that statement is speculative.
