remortgage question

Hi,
My two year tracker mortgage will end within two months and I am starting to look for new deals.
Currently I am with Halifax. The question is that even if I can find a better deal with another bank or building society, I will have to pay some hidden fees (I am not talking about arrangement fees, instead I mean things like legal fees or Survey fees etc).
Is it better to stick to halifax and just get a new deal from them as I don't need to pay these fees?
Cheers,
Jerry

These fees are not hidden
Some mortgage deals will include free legal fees and free valuations
Whether these are good for you will depend on your exact situation and the figures involved

I suppose it all depends on your new offer. I am remortgaging and it will cost me the grand sum of £50 as there were no fees on the mortgage, £250 for the solicitor but Woolwich are paying me £200 to have their mortgage.0

Hi mintymoneysaver,
Just went to Wool's web and their rates are quite good.
Would you mind to tell me how to get the 200£ from them as I didn't really see this offer on their web.
Many Thanks
Jerry0
