I received an Edenred Compliments card which says that I have £50 to spend on it.
I'm puzzled as to where it came from and it could be some scam to get my details so I've done nothing with it.
Anybody else received one or know anything about these cards? It says it is a prepaid card but searching I couldn't figure out where it came from unless it was here:

But I'm not sure since there are no details at all on the website.
So for now I shall assume it is not a win

Have they asked for any personal details apart from ones they already know? They know your name and address I'm presuming as they have sent the card out? I purchased a £10 master card gift card for £4 the other day so these things are possible.0

You could contact What's On Bristol and find out if you are a winner from this competition they ran.
Fingers crossed it's a nice win!

According to this http://compliments.edenred.co.uk/CardInfo.htm they don't need any personal details to activate the card, just the card number and code. Do you have those? If not, it may already have been activated so you can go ahead and use it. Happy spending.:)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I've had a good few of these cards for shopping centres and shops...you just use them like a debit card with credit on them...no need for even a name on the card. Nice wins because you get a choiceHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Thanks for the replies.
Sounds like it is a win then. I've not got the activation code or pin through yet so I'll have to wait for one to come through.0 -
I thought they just worked like gift cards? Have a read of the website elsien posted - you could try and ring the customer services line for advice : )0

I won a prepaid mastercard last year and didn't receive a pin number. There should a website address on it, then you can check your balance on it and it's ready to go. You have to sign the back and then sign the receipt when you pay for anything. Word of warning though if it's the same, it needs using up within 6 months or it just takes the money away.
Well done on your win!0 -
I recently purchased one that was posted on GRAB IT https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/55710127#Comment_55710127
Read the post and one person mentions how to activate it0 -
Everything you need should be on the card, the card number is usually a ref number and pin is a 6 digits on the bottom of the card x0
