...are scanning as free. They are marked at £3 but on the receipt it says *giveaway*

They are completely free but you do have to buy somthing with them or else the transaction is voided.

Nothing at my local Tesco - just drove down there in a frenzy as my kids have been after the union jack one No luck.

My local still had loads yesterday morning, I was telling people with kids on the way out so word may be out today! They were looking at me as if I was mad, mind you, LOL!

EDIT - Just got back from Mr T and as I got there the manager was having the 2 remaining boxes put onto a trolley and I had to watch them disappear out the back!! Tragic! Meanies, why didn't they just hand them out like other stores? I guess they are on their way to 99p stores....shame they don't send them to a local kids home/womens refuge etc.

My 'spares' went to our charity fete today!

Keyrings are still £2,75, I really want a set of these but that is too much.....

Wait a few more days and I reckon that there will be loads of Olympic freebies being given away..from Mr T, Sainsburys, etc.

After all, who is going to buy it now that is has all finished ? Just like when England get knocked out of any football tournament ! Poeple buy it before the tournament, we get beaten (on penalties OMG yet again), the shops reduce the prices gradually, then it is given away for free lol !!

Just back from our local Tesco and whilst going through the self service the SA gave my children a Wenlock each

I phoned up tesco and they said that there managers are telling them to box them up and send them back to the company who made them as they can put them in poundland

Just found some vaguely 'hidden' near the checkout manager's little station in my local - managed to get a Wenlock each for my 3 nieces. They still go through the checkout (self scan of course) as free, provided you have something else in your basket.
