Spending Nectar Points

I know the best way to spend my Tesco Clubcard Vouchers (in fact, I'm becoming quite an expert) but have no idea what is the best place for nectar points.
Don't have anywhere near the number I have at Tesco but currently hold 8248. I am going to Argos so could spend them there but what is the best value spend? Whenever I have looked on the nectar site, the offers never seem to be that brilliant - any experts out with any advice?
Not sure this is the right place for this so please would some kind person move it if necessary.
Thanks

nectar isn't as good as a clubcard in terms of deals but there are some available e.g. DVD rental for 500 points and days out from 4000 points. Depends how often you use it - I don't use mine much so I use it at argos (1848 points would give you £7.50)0

I work for sainsburys, every 500 points is worth £2.50 off your shopping, or in Argos, so £7.50 off is 1500 points not 1848 that OP said. You used to get double the worth if redeemed in Adams (500 =£5.00) Since adams have gone down the plughole cant do that anymore! I just save them up all year and take the money off my Christmas shopping, I usually get from £60.00 - £100 (in points) and get even more money off ontop of that with staff discount, so works out best for me! You can also exchange for airmiles, electrial goods, pamper days, wine deals - they are running a promotion just now, check out https://www.nectar.com
hope that helps you out a bit!0 -
Thanks for your replies, I used them to get £40 off DD1s birthday present at argos.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0

Pig Sick as I brought MP3 player on Monday for birthday next week and they are now doing a spend £50+ get £5 gift voucher.
MP3 players are excluded from moneyback so can't take it back and buy it again to get the voucher:mad: and I thought I was doing so well to be that organised7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -
Currently half price case of wine with Nectar points, think this only lasts until end of Friday though. Just ordered myself one.0

I've looked and I agree, I don't think you can. You can exchange Tesco points for Airmiles (although it's not necessarily a good deal). I also seem to remember that you could change Sainsburys' old reward card points (pre Nectar) for Airmiles, so perhaps it's just confusion.0 -
I was just looking through the Nectar site and for 500 points you can get £5 vouchers for Beefeater or Brewer's Fayre. This effectively doubles their worth.0
