Quality men's suit desperately required

I have a wedding to go to in a few months (not mine, already done that) and was after some advice as to where to buy a nice men’s suit.

I know there are suits, and there are suits, but I’m after a nice middle of the range quality one that I can wear daily as well, perhaps something like this: http://racinggreen.co.uk/shop/product/products_id/2005.html, but not for £200.

Grateful for any suggestions and recommendations. For info I am in Pontypridd.

Thanks,
L

I personally buy George ones and I've never had any issues, bought 3 and used for weekdays. You can pick them up for circa £50. Not the best quality but you can't tell IMO.

Bought a suit from Burton for £90. It's not amazing but certainly looks the part compared with some other offerings in that price range that I've seen elsewhere (and what I've seen in M&S for £150-180).

Worth a look if you have a store nearby. :)

Bought a jacket and trousers seperate at Matalan, for a wedding, for less than £30 combined and no-one could tell it was not a suit. I got the fit I wanted and at a good price.

I was in M&S the other day and saw an Autograph suit advertised by the guy out of 'The Feeling' it was £59 for the jacket and £29.50 for the trousers, and it is by far one of the best suits i've ever bought and a total bargain... unfortunately i'm not at home ot get the item code for you... But it is well worth it if you can get your hands on one...

Just don't pay by card ;)
  • On Friday I bought a travel suit in M&S in Lakeside in the sale. My lovely friend Lisa helped me find the right sizes in the sale items and I managed to buy a jacket with 2 matching pairs of trousers for a total of £68. Bargain! :D :T :D Thanks Lisa! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I can second ASDA. I bought a suit in the sale for £45, reduced from £90 - it was one of the fancy clothing range (I can't remember the name for it!)

Debenhams have a sale on at the moment. I was in store at the weekend and saw some decent suits reduced. Probably on line as well.
