Myself and about 50 other employees has now got a judgement from the ET stating that they have to pay all outstanding monies to us all.
In the judgement however, it does not state if they have a time limit to pay this, or what the next steps are. I know that any legal action would have to come from myself, but not sure on what the next steps are with this?
The only dates I have are: Relevant judgement day - 30/8/12, Calculation day - 11/10/12 and the rate of interest is 8%.
Do I need to send them a LBA detailing a time frame for them to pay before taking legal action at all?

Hi there,
I also won an employment tribunal and received a written judgement with the same references.
The relevant judgement day was basically the date the written judgement was typed up.
The calculation day is the day when payment must be received by you, failing which, daily interest will accrue. IIRC the interest is worked out by multiplying the award to be paid to you by 8% then dividing by 365 (days per year) to give the amount of daily interest which will apply.
Also, IIRC, I was issued a booklet with a FAQ section which stated if the respondent failed to pay, you could sue through the County Court. Bear in mind though, that this would not be a guarantee of actually receiving your money.

No stress involved with mine, the claim was not defended so a default judgement was issued. Did not have to attend any hearings at all, the only stress has come from not being paid for such a long amount of time!
Sorry state of affairs, and the sooner it is sorted out the better, although I'm not overly confident of actually receiving any money from them at all.0
