credit accounts and long closed bank accounts help needed

Hi All!

I got myself into all sorts of trouble a few years ago which ended up with me still paying it all off.

The biggest pain was allways a company called Clydesdale. i had a £300 credit account which went a bit wrong when i missed a couple of payments. cutting a long story shorted..... the outstanding is still £1500. i must have paid back the £300 many times over but the charges they handed me are unreal. can i claim back these charges?

is it just bank accounts that can be claimed back or does it apply on any lending?

on a positive note.... it was about £15k 3 years ago and its now down to about £7k, i am hoping the claiming back of charges will allmost wip out the rest :T

thanks, i have looked but cant find specifically if it does or not.

i think i will apply for my old statements and try it...... i assume i wont get in trouble for having a go!?

Post a note up on the credit cards board - I am sure others have claimed them back.
