  • No, it was in Dund0nald. I'm interested to see if I get the promised phonecall.
They can be just as bad :(. I think you may be waiting a while on that call :rotfl:

Just missed the call but they left a voicemail. It was supposed to have been from a member of As management but she sounded about 12. Just said that she was sorry about the wait I had and that they have been advised now by Head Office that even though there may be the problem (that they are aware of) with the APGs, they are to accept them no matter what :D

That was it - all of about 10 seconds. Not really good enough I don't think. I would have expected her to even leave a number for me to call her back on as she didn't get to speak directly to me.

I still think I will ring main CS about it - I even have a good mind to play the voicemal message down the phone to them to let them hear how pathetiic it was!

    :A
  • Hi, just catching up and i'm guessing i've missed quite a bit because i saw this -

I can honestly say that nikki along with the rest of the people on this thread and it's previous maifestations have been nothing but welcoming to everyone including me.
I only joined this fantastic bunch of people about a year ago when I was at my lowest, they not only welcomed me but made me feel quite at home. I have got to know them, we've ranted together, cried together, celebrated birthdays, weddings and new babies and maybe differed on things a few times but that's just like any family and family is the best way to describe the people on this thread.

    :smileyhea

I think the problems arise when people just bounce on and demand the info without a please or thank you, common courtesy costs nothing but means a lot. Also usually what they're looking for has been mentioned a few posts above their question or on the very front page of the thread, it only takes minutes to search.

Sorry for going on but this annoyed me a bit :o

Never a truer word spoken spiralling :T so pleased your back nikki although I'm not quite sure what's happened as I quit reading when it all kicked off early yesterday so got loads to catch up on.

    Well Im posting more today!!!
Only cos I had to call HO about my trouting on Tuesday over my FAKE apg...

I dont think they really bother to do anything...When u call them they sound all sympathetic and all...but really I think its just all part of the CS,,,

So nothing had been done about my trouting on Tuesday, the duty manager DIDNT KNOW anything about it!!!

SO the outcome... nothing..just an apology not from the Trout on Tuesday but from this duty manager....and that I would be welcome to use my apg next time Im in....not much chance cos its was near the airport which is a bit far for me!!

    So just leaving it!!!

    Good morning everyone,

I've been lurking mostly since the last thread for various reasons. I'd like to continue to post on the thread if OK but will keep the APG to myself unless I spot something or am asked directly.

Speaking from experience. I have owned and lived with several breeds of dogs. With children I prefer to get Heinz57-type dogs as they are so mild mannered. We got Roxy at 3 year old from RSPCA which was great. £100 for a dog that's had everything done. We then got Rufus (the dufus) who ate our sofa and half the kid's toys as someone was going to just leave him in a field. He is a !!!!!! but we love him. I have kids at 4 right to 21 and he's fine with them all. I wouldn't hesitate to get another, if you want another, and I always rescue as I don't agree with greedy breading.

FCGood to see you back posting your updates and your kind messages to one and all. I hope you are well. :)
    Tiger-cubAny news yet, anybody?
DD1 My DD1 is now having DGD1 - just found out today it's a girl (nevermind :rotfl:)! :D:D:D
Lala - A.lala -N.lala Brilliant! Hope you are all well and get posting regular updates of your trials and tribulations of posting on MSE!
FKWhen are we going for dinner?!
WhalingReading the posts has made me really sad. I know it's just a cultural thing and we should respect their decisions as long as done sustainable but it really is awful to [STRIKE]watch[/STRIKE] read about. :(

I have to pop into town at lunch to get some ball bearings for my mandrel so may try the Robinson's as the kids go through it like mad. :rotfl:

Have a good day, everyone. :A

Thanks for your very useful and informative post Drv. I echo your thoughts entirely re dogs etc and a good animal charity will always take back pets that don't work out. I would also recommend the 57 types rather than a pedigree that may have been bred from a breeding !!!!! kept in dreadful conditions on an animal farm.

Oh, btw, glad to see you de-lurking lol
  • Ooh I've got another star!

Well done I'm sooo looking forward to my shiny silver star :D
