Morning all. Thanks locarr for the new thread. I still never caught up properly on the last two :o. I seemed to have lost my mojo for a while, work, family etc, you all know what it's like.
However, after my break in France, and a bit of advice from zippy (thanks sooo much hun), and some reading back, and reading this new thread from the beginning, I've found it again.:D I did a couple of shops and got a couple of apg's and the excitement has taken hold again.
I'm off to do some serious shopping today, with DS1's GF. I'll leave the problem of storing it all til we get back.
Thank you all again for the invaluable info you all post on here. I'm sorry to read of a bit of dissension, but all seems ok now. As others have said this is a family, and disagreements are bound to happen.
Has tiger had her baby yet? I've seen mentions of it but no real info. I hope she is doing ok.
Sorry you are low at times fudge, hope things improve. Thanks to angelsmadv for the explanation of what glitch works where.
    Hope everyone else is ok

  • Morning Everyone

    Hope all are well

Done a A shop for toothpaste this morning, well that was confusing felt like I was standing staring at list then staring at shelf for 30 minutes :rotfl::rotfl:. Fingers crossed I've done it right, find out at 12.30.

Baby Ben has been great & had already got a stash for 4month later today we will be getting 7month old food. Seems weird getting this food when he's only days old but who can argue at these prices :D

A good filler to get to go with all your custard is SP choc. Or raspberry roll at 25p. I have to say I haven't been disappointed by the quality of the SP fillers

    Have a good day everyone

    Jags
    Shop one - A vs T
    Shop two - A vs W
    And then repeat :j:j:j
    & now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Can't find your post lala but your DS will be fine :) it is rather daunting though when they first leave home, it is a huge step but he is a clever lad and sensible :) you are a very close family so he will keep in touch

It's over and out for me got things to do :D;)

    Catch you all later x
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Pleased that Auntie will be joining in.

Hope that you have sorted out all of DS's toiletry needs (not literally!) and that you have stocked up on shampoo/con, dental stuff and the obligatory polish (for cleaning the way that mum taught him) for his first year - will cut down on his visits to the MandD Bank.

We are stocking up in a very MSE fashion;)Yesterday he went and got all his stationary, courtesy of WHSmith cards (The greeting card glitch earlier in the year and I got the cards with the long dates;)) Then we will be getting toiletries courtesy of the Boots 500 points glitch, managed to amass rather a lot of those:oThen Wombled APG's will get a lot of other bits and LTS vouchers from mission control are being spent in River Island:T:T:TThen he will he will no doubt raid the garage stash for wine and beer! I have the £1.80 crockery from last years T's glitch along with saucepans, knives and cutlery from the kitchen glitch and gorgeous T's finest towels from the Direct glitch last year:T:TI loooovvvve MSE, and obviously he's got enough shampoo for the whole uni;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

    It happened again :(

I thought I would be brave and try using my £19er in the same A store. Was just buying normal items and some clothing to bulk the value up - just wanted rid of the high APG! Used SS and the SA looked a bit funny when I showed her it. Said she would have to get a SV and who did she go and get .... but Face-ache from the previous time

Said same thing about the 999 meaning it was fake. i said that all APGs over £9.99 seemed to have this code but she didn't accept that! I told her to check it on the APG site herself. She took my receipt and APG and left me at the SS (with all items having been scanned and waiting for the rest of the payment) for 20 (TWENTY!) minutes  - it was screaming at me "do you wish to continue" every few mins. People were looking, other SAs were asking me if I was ok - it was humiliating.

She eventually came back - tail between her legs and all apologetic - saying the manager checked it and it was fine but that there must be something wrong in the system (sorry folks:o).

I was able to use it but this was the bit that got me though ... The manager said they would accept it "this time". It is their system that you input their receipt details into that then compares their prices to other retailers and then provides you with a voucher to use in their stores ... but they will accept it "this time". I was just too angry to argue anymore.

I told her that I felt so embarrassed after being made to stand for 20 mins and that I felt I could not return to the store now (laying it on thick!:p). I am supposed to be getting a call from someone in management about it today so we'll see...

    :A

    Hi,
That's terrible! How can they say they are fake and treat you like that!!? Appalling!
Can I ask which store this was in? I've used mine sucessfully in Bangor and Dundonald....no questions asked.
    Hope you're ok....

Thanks for this. I've just emailed and asked them to get it to me quick or refund and I will buy one in store.

Wonder if they will also refund the delivery charge, or if that is asking too much.

My cheese didn't work yesterday, even though I had 10 items, it said not enough items. I'm just going to take it on the chin and keep it, all my other shops have been fine.

Just a reminder to everyone be careful to have plenty of items.
