I saw this first thing this morning on my Facebook - I still feel sick thinking about it now :(
I find the pictures so haunting on their facebook page - if you didn't know what was going on you would think they were lovely pictures, beautiful scenery, if you know what I mean.
So angry  I can't imagine how you must feel after your involvement previously with the dolphins.

    Anway, morning all
Hope all is well with everyone and Tiger and her cub are safe and well.
Thanks for the new thread Locarr, seems to be off to a very good start, and long may it continue
I feel very down today for some reason and could just crawl under my desk and go to sleep... but I suppose I had better catch up with all you gasbags! :D

Hi Magic - its truly awful what is being allowed to happen at the cove, Several of us have commented already - jamsponge suggested we contact Japanese embassy to protest. Think some of us will be doing this today:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Hope your mood lifts as quickly as possible. Maybe you need to visit Mr A as a quick pick you up:):)

I wanted to get rid of a £17 APG which was a bit higher than I would normally be happy using. The SA was lovely and just called over to a supervisor for some assistance. Supervisor has a look, gets out her phone and speaks to someone saying "we have one of these funny vouchers". She asked me "where did you get this" and me, thinking she meant the receipt as it was on the front of the APG, said "here" :rotfl:. I assumed the problem was because of its value. I asked "why, is there something wrong?" She replied "this is a fake". I tried to (vaguely!) explain that some items worked out much better value in Tesco but she just pointed to the barcode and said "see this 999, that means it's a fake".

I know now from searching through this thread that all APGs over £9.99 will have a 999 in the barcode but didn't know this at the time and had never thought to look before. Obviously, neither did she! If I'd have known, I would have told her that but all I could think was "flip, maybe I've put the receipt through twice" or something! It really threw me and all I could think was that I had maybe done something wrong!

She said that there is "another website" giving out fake vouchers when you put in your receipt details and that must be where I got it from. I told her I just followed the link when I went through Google. She went on about how high it was and the SA (who was on my side, bless her) was also trying to justify to the supervisor the reason for it being high! She told me that they had received one for over £33 that was fraudulent and that they had been told to now look out for any with 999 in the barcode as that meant they were fake.

A manager woman came along, didn't really add anything more, just said again what the supervisor had said, she told me to go through Asda.com and do it again. It was so embarrassing.

Needless to say, I wasn't able to use it so just lucky I had the cash on me.

Because I had now got myself into a flap and had other transactions to do, I ended up mixing my two other shops up and have now come away with a £19 APG instead of two small ones!!!! :o I'll be scared to use it now! Also, I had intended to use a few smaller APGs on the other two transactions but after being accused of the first one being fake, I didn't want to pull out a few more!!!

    It happened again :(

I thought I would be brave and try using my £19er in the same A store. Was just buying normal items and some clothing to bulk the value up - just wanted rid of the high APG! Used SS and the SA looked a bit funny when I showed her it. Said she would have to get a SV and who did she go and get .... but Face-ache from the previous time

Said same thing about the 999 meaning it was fake. i said that all APGs over £9.99 seemed to have this code but she didn't accept that! I told her to check it on the APG site herself. She took my receipt and APG and left me at the SS (with all items having been scanned and waiting for the rest of the payment) for 20 (TWENTY!) minutes  - it was screaming at me "do you wish to continue" every few mins. People were looking, other SAs were asking me if I was ok - it was humiliating.

She eventually came back - tail between her legs and all apologetic - saying the manager checked it and it was fine but that there must be something wrong in the system (sorry folks:o).

I was able to use it but this was the bit that got me though ... The manager said they would accept it "this time". It is their system that you input their receipt details into that then compares their prices to other retailers and then provides you with a voucher to use in their stores ... but they will accept it "this time". I was just too angry to argue anymore.

I told her that I felt so embarrassed after being made to stand for 20 mins and that I felt I could not return to the store now (laying it on thick!:p). I am supposed to be getting a call from someone in management about it today so we'll see...

off to sada in a min can i do a coke shop with cheese???? looked at the list it says yes but i'm sure i saw last nite that was wrong or was it the sweets?? that were wrong :D

    Hi

Best way is to familiarise yourself with the glitches and the APG system by reading first post and back reading the last thread. If you need a shortcut, put the item you are looking for (coke, pilgrim, lake disttrict) in the search box and then scan results for a shop list that someone has completed/contains other items you would like to buy. Check if it worked/didn't work based on the OPs comments. Just bear in mind that what worked yesterday might not come back favourably today - there is an element of the unknown about all this.

Below post is a good example I think that answers these queries? Thanks to inna and good luck :)

Has anyone tried the 3 for £30 spirits (a v t) and got the comparison back? On msm it only says 2 for £24 and not as t website 2 for £24 or 3 for £30.

Yesterday I had a t receipt with 3 grants and a jack Daniels and the bottom of the receipt showed both offers but only took £9 off. there was a big price difference with a, might be worth someone doing the same shop in a ?
