I have been a bit quiet on here, this is due to a major trouting on saturday, I went to use an APG which was pence over £10, ss had to get supervisor, supervisor had to get the manager.
I was not allowed to use it, they took a photocopie of the APG, it was very intimidating and embarrassing.
They told me police are getting involved??, customers are de-frauding Asda by repeatedly buying the same goods, over and over again knowing the APG's will be high.
I remained very calm and dignified. They took my number and assured me they would phone back.
In the meantime yesterday, I phoned Head office, explained how, for years I have used MSM to guide me to the store for the most competitive prices, and was very honest and told her, that I was purposefully buying the same items so I could get a good APG. The man was absolutely great, went and checked with a senior manager, whom I then explained this to, and she said WE ARE GETTING ALOT OF HIGH APG'S COMING THROUGH, WE ARE AWARE, BUT IN NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU GET REFUSED THE USE OF THESE AS LONG AS THE DETAILS MATCH UP.
They are aware of the error, if you want to keep buying the same items thats fine, the fault is with us not you the consumer.
Store phoned me back, very apologetic, if I get confronted again, they must ask for a (named) member of staff they will put them through.
So please note we are doing no wrong, we can put an APG through at 20p or £20 makes no difference.
Sorry you had to go through all that, but at least you got somewhere in the end. And hopefully good news for others. Thank you :T0 -

I have just used the last of the whoopsied roast beef from a few months back that I roasted, sliced and froze. I served this with roasted potatoes (Asda baby potatoes in herbs and gravy) and APG filler mushrooms with mashed swede and sweet potato with a side helping of APG filler carrots and a tin of garden peas (filler again). This was smothered in gravy enhanced with a splash of red.
Nom nom
We are having a light tea later now but (will still have a substantial pud around 7pm)
