  • After my trouting on Friday, being accused of fraudulent behaviour i took the weekend off, but am ready to go try another shop now... damn the trouts!

Have had a look through and see that many glitches have been fixed, so was just planning on doing a cheese shop and maybe a wine shop. I've lost my lists from last week, but just want to confirm if the lake district cheese is working... is it the mature one and the pilgrim choice the extra mature? Am i right in thinking that i need 3 cheese (an combo of LD and PC) and 1 x 16s DL triangles or the 300g tub.... or have there been any changes on this?

Might try popping back in for a wine shop if it's still working, I know the rose is not working but will give the red a try. Mincemeat no longer working but ketchup is working... is this correct???????

Thanks in advance.... i'm a bit apprehensive about getting back on the saddle as my coupons are all £14 & £15 ones!

    Any chance of adopting me?:D

    Why not :D

I had all my children by Caesarean section and hoping Toni will have this little girl naturally. I would hate to see her eat junk food that first week, and I am hoping that by helping her with the meals she can enjoy the first few weeks without spending too much time in the kitchen :)

DS2 goes to uni on friday :(:(

So since the day after results day (he had to wait for his place) I've been putting together bags of stuff. Get home yesterday to find OH had unpacked everything - trying to be helpful - he couldn't understand why there was unpacked shopping everywhere :(

  • toe not too good. they chopped the top of toe number 2 off. but it has got infected and swollen, it is now bigger than the big toe

i am waiting for a surgery date to chop it off a bit more. but they want the infection to clear first. they have tried 4 diffenrent antibiotics, but none have worked, they did a swab test on it to see what bugs are in there. so they can give me the right antibiotics.
if anyone wants to see my toe i will stick a picture up on facebook later.

    p.s pic on facebook now.

Aww I'm really sorry to hear that.

You don't mind having things up to 4 years past their best before date then?

Absolutely not, no. I am a firm believer that a) tins will last longer than I will considering I've eaten ration packs from the 70s whilst in cadets and they were fine and b) stuff that has been heated to 121 deg C for 3 minutes and stuff sealed in bottles will last at least 5 years.

We order lots of stuff from approved foods and I'm currently eating cup-a-soup and chicken stock cubes that are three years past their "best before" date. It's all about how you cook them IMO. :A
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
