    I've started doubting my ability to count in single figures :o I was stood looking at the trolley the other day and there were doubles of some items. I was trying to count how many items in total for the glitch offer and also how many unique items for the APG. My brain was hurting by the end of it :(.

    Sounds like me tonight

    3 hair products (2 unique inc 1 cheapo)
    3 heinz baby food (3 unique inc 1 cheapo)
    Bottle of tommy K, Beanz, Flump, mouse, button
    11 items , 10 unique items, 3 glitches covered, APG less than £10

    Looks easy on paper, counted it out 10 times on conveyor though!

    G'day peeps and peepettes.

    Just had a major grouting - feeling rather poorly, so in a nutshell:

    Called SA over on SS to authorise APG for £12 odd. He took it straight to security who came over and asked where I got it from. Told him Asda price guarantee website of course. He said they had received email from HO saying all vouchers with this barcode were fraudulent.

    I protested my innocence and asked him to put my receipt through the APG himself - but he wasn't interested. I said ALL APGs over £9.99 had that same barcode and they were being misinformed. After being kept at SS for about 10 mins, Security came back and said Manager would let me use it THIS time, but they have to get to the bottom of it.

    Sorry I'm poorly and need to go to bed now

    Awww!! So sorry you were trouted especially when you feel poorly. I think most of us would admit to being trouted on this particular glitch. Hope you are feeling better soon x

    Good evening elite! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! :cool:

    I made two quite interesting discoveries today! :D

    Firstly, for anyone troubled by the monthly Asda APG limit and not having a compatible phone to run the Asda App you can still enjoy aau1's tip. I tried it out on my PC using BlueStacks the Android emulator and it worked beautifully; simply download the BlueStacks beta from bluestacks.com and when you have it up and running use App Search to search for Asda, select and install the app, then away you go! Use the app within the emulator to check your receipts then switch back to your web browser for printing them, without ever having to enter any personal details (until they change it)!

    Secondly, I found a baffling series of Asda receipts in a trolley today. I can't work this out... they were...
    • all unmarked;
    • all screwed up into balls;
    • all perfectly executed targeted shops using the information from here (cheese + custard + coke, hair care, clearing products + oral care) with minimal fillers;
    • all produce an APG voucher of around £20 each;
    • all were paid mostly by redeeming APGs and then the balance settled using the same credit card;
    • all the same store, operator and till with consecutive transaction numbers;
    • all are timed within just 5 minutes of each other (in fact there's less than a minute between 2 of them);
    • all have todays date and the transaction time is just 15 minutes before I found them!

    ...so, I wonder why oh why has someone discarded them? The shopper was clearly very adept and amazingly speedy but I just don't get how they have or could generate APGs and use them if they threw away the receipts so soon!

    It makes me wonder if someone knows something we don't - like maybe there's a way to get APG vouchers within minutes instead of 3 hours?

    The only other explanation I can think of to fit the evidence is maybe someone did these shops and then accidentally discarded their new receipts instead of the old ones! Yikes! If you did this today, please get in touch and I'll try to help you out! :)

    The only person who could be that adept, I think .... do you live near Henlans?:)
