    Quick question if I may.......
Can you usually self scan APG's under a tenner at the self-serve checkouts, as I tried twice today, and neither would scan. Could just be me of course.
    Cheers!!

Mine wouldn't scan this morning either. The woman had to come over to manually input the amount, I thought I was going to get trouted but once I said I could show her on their asda up the results she just muttered that's fine and put it through.

I seem to have far more hassle with the under £10 ones than I do with the ones between £14 and £18 :rotfl:

  • I think I've messed up my third coke shop in a row.
Shop 1 - forgot the ambrosia
Shop 2 - bought the wrong ambrosia
Shop 3 - Bought whoopsied bread and cakes, so not sure if they will count.

I get my result in an hour. Fingers crossed.

Bought 10 items but didn't compare because I had less than 8 comparable items...another lesson learned. :(
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

You can take 2 shops to the self-checkouts at once??? I have enough trouble sorting out one shop at then!!!

Sometimes 3  when i have to get normal
shopping, yes not easy though especially when I have my 2 year old inside the trolly (not in the seat) messy up my separate shops & handing me stuff to scan then I have to figure out which shop it was for :rotfl:
  • Hi Elite...

Did 3 shops tonight, 2 on this thread which worked fine... cheese one to come at 11:45 ish...

Trying to not go crazy with stuff tbh (2 wine shops, 1 poo, 1 coke, 1 cheese so far) so looking tomorrow for probably a tooth shop and a Robinsons shop...

Can anyone give some examples of either of these please? - I think for tooth you need to get the Aquafresh little teeth 4-6 months as the cheapie (my kids use this anyway).

Not sure about the other toothpastes I should get (I use a dentist recommended one anyway) but something for the missus.

Also which Robinsons (hopefully NAS) as kids drink a lot of juice.

    Ta

My trick is to keep them well seperate in my trolley. As I am scanning the first one, I put my handbag between the 2 so I know when to stop scanning. Not the best practice maybe but for now it works for me
But where do you put all the bags of shopping when you go into your second one???
I also may look a trifle odd with a lovely bag.

  • Hello everyone and help!

As I've said previously I cant join in the this lovely Mr a apg business because we only have a mr t and it's many many miles to the nearest Mr a.

I was just wondering why the mr a prices compare with such ridiculously low prices in mr t. I'm totally confused obviously mr t aren't selling the things for these prices so why are mr a comparing them at that?

Please please someone put me out of my misery and explain it to me!!!
