  • Can I please ask a techie question to all you knowledgeable people?
I have a new iphone 3g, and would like to download some apps, but I don't want to input my bank details, so I was wondering could I buy an Apps store card, or an itunes card? Can I download apps from an itunes card? I have been asking my kids this Q, and they don't know either TIA:)

I havent been shopping today !!!!!!!!

Have been sorting stuff I have been collecting over the year for DS for uni in 2 weeks! It's beginning to sink in that he wont be here ......very emotional

    Hello Calmspirit,
Yes it s emotional. I felt bad yesterday but a bit better today. DS wanted to get back early to see his friends. I try and look at the positives, no wet towels lying around, food still in the fridge...
But DD leaves next weekend for Birmingham Uni an it starts all over again.
I just get used to putting four plates out to dinner, then three, then two........:o

I had a major trouting yesterday  after a long and stressful 12.5 hour shift I thought I would pop into Mr a on my way home for some stress relief. When I handed over my 12.00 odd voucher a supervisor was called who very nicely explained that they had had had some issues with the vouchers and she would have to call someone else
Well, along comes another lady who very politely takes my apg and spies another apg in my hand for 22.00 odd :o:o and off she goes. When she comes back she states that the has looked on the comparisons site and noticed that my shampoo was comparing at 16pence which she said was not right so she refused to let me use them and has photocopied them and will be contacting hq on Monday
I was asked for my name and contact number and she said that she would ring me and let me know if I would be able to use them next week.

I left all my shopping on the conveyor belt as I said if I could not use my vouchers then the only thing I wanted to buy was the toilet roll :o

I was the last person in the shop. I closed at 2200 and because of all this fuss I didn't get out until 22.15!! I am defiantly above the radar now :( and I only have one Mr a anywhere near me :(

Good luck out there guys, it can be tough.

:eek::eek: I take it this was P3nryn? I still haven't got there yet, kind of glad now! Hope you ring HO and get it sorted.

Morning. You know when you get your 8+ fillers and it's like one apple, one onion etc., do you put these in bags or just leave them loose. I do that for oranges, bananas, jacket potato but somehow feel I have to get at least 2 apples, 2 onions and put them in bags. Would be interested to see if others just get one apple, one onion and dont bother with the plastic bags (seems wasteful to me lol).

    TIA

I always utilise the free freezer bags on single items! ;):p I don't remember the last time I had to buy freezer bags!! :rotfl:
