Mixed day yesterday, did a garage sale in the morning. (Had to get some room for my stash) Did okay and sold lots of tat er I meant treasure.
So really pleased.
Then had an unplanned visit from a friend. Felt really embarrased as I had not had any time to tidy up and the place was a complete mess. Also I had not had time to store away my stash and the kicthen was packed. My friend gave me a real lecture on spending ! She said no wonder you are in debt you need to stop spending and buying all this stuff. I tried to explain but she was having none of it :mad: I am fed up of people in my life thinking that they always know better.
Also it didn't stop them drinking the wine and beer and chomped through a couple of CT pizzas! I explained the prices but she said well they should be giving it to you for free with the amount you are spending. Had to laugh at that though. :rotfl:
I dont mean to complain or seem envious but they have never had any worries with money and she is always clothes shopping, why is it wrong for me to do this for my family. She doesnt have kids and has a good job so she can spend her money on herself. I was so  and it took all I had not to let her have both barrels so to speak but I hate confrontation so tried to change the subject. OH was great though, he said that he thought that I was doing great and that he was really proud of me. I could be jealous of her but I would rather be me really. Needless to say I wont be inviting them back any time soon.
They seemed to take ages to go and then I had my lists to do so I missed sada yesterday. So we had a really good womble in the car park with the boy racers. DD is a great wombler, she sees it as a game, I just nod in the direction and she picks it up. Is that child expliotation? :rotfl:
I probably wont get much catching up today but hugs to all that need them and hope you all get in some good sada shopping today.
Ignore it:eek:You only need to come on here to know you are doing it right;)Afternoon Fudgie!!
Well nothing out of those two wombles but I've got a few more to do later
I need some advice, does anyone here have thick hair which tends to be greasy and split-endy?
I thought it'd be nice to take a huge bag down to my friend who's in Dorchester hospital at the moment with her very sick little boy, this is type of hair she has, I thought HE Beautiful Ends, maybe the John Frieda full repair stuff and Batiste dry shampoo but my hair is nothing like hers so I've no idea what would be good. I can't wait to see her face when she gets all her stuff, it will really cheer her up!
Can anyone with similar hair help? She doesn't want H&S.....TIA
The tresemme moisturising shampoo is brilliant, I'd never used it before and am converted.I've got thick hair which I colour and straighten and can go greasy quickly although its dry, if that makes sense and the tresemme ticks all the boxes with me;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
How much shampoo do people use??
I bought a big bottle of Herbal Essence 2 in 1 about 2 months ago, I wash my long hair about 4 times a week.. yet I still have just under half a bottle left...??
Shampoo, I use very little.
I have very long (waist length at the back) hair and have used 2 full 400ml bottles of HE Hello Hydration and about 2/3rds of another one since DTD last year. In this time I've used > 10 400ml conditioners though.
It's only a game

I got the 2 in 1 due to lazyness... but usually I would find I use more conditioner than shampoo>>0
