Hi guys new to this fab community.

Really need some conditioner but a bit confused about what to get - have read back loads of pages but can't find.

I know it's one SP condition + expensive ones, but how many and which brand?

Not bothered which brand I get so if someone could just give me one example that would be great.

Hope to be able to give something back to the thread soon :-)

    thanks so much!

    1 sp conditioner or gel
1 Tresemme Salon Silk 900ml poo
1 Tresemme Salon Silk 900ml cond
    5/6 filler items

Other poos/conds that work are head and shoulders, pantene, herbal essences, john frieda, aussie but flavours need to be checked!

  • It compares with tesco , not sainsbobs

Yeah, I know, but it needs to show in ASDA which it doesn't and therefore doesn't work. ;)

Elvive Nutri Gloss does not work. I bought some on Monday and it doesn't even show on the APG as MSM show it as N/A for Asda. Hth x.

i have very long hair the same type and mine is very thick. i would say no to the dry shampoo as my hair hates it! is her hair straight or does she straightern it? my thinking might be to get one of the keep straight stuff so she can wash and go maybe? also maybe a shine spray or something liek a serum to flatten the fly aways to make it look neat.

Her hair is wavy and she's a low-maintenance sort so it's wash and go, I think I will get her dry shampoo as she's got no time to herself right now and it will make her feel more human if her hair looks better, but I will take a look at the hair serums also, thanks x

OK cheers, no unfortunately he is likely to be there for another couple of weeks, he has blood poisoning and also Leukemia so won't be 'better' for a couple of years unfortunately, but he's a perky sort and an absolute darling, I'm sure I'll spoil him too :D

    Hi Kadison

I have thick hair with tendency to be greasy and i have been using the Elvive Nutri-gloss shampoo (pink bottle). I have not bought any on the glitch as yet as my cupboards are so stocked of it from the L'oreal vouchers.

Hoping to get some today as Flo Flo has just confirmed that Elvive compared last night

    HTH

OK thanks, I'll put that on my list x

In order to persuade him to come along i'm planning to do a shop trying out the kopparberg mentioned earlier for him to enjoy afterwards.

Basically i can't remember what times you can buy alcohol on a sunday & wondered if some kind person could remind me please? TIA

It's different for each store - some have alcohol extensions too but some do not and can't sell alcohol for all their opening hours today!

No problem. but apparently the small bottles work. I always buy bigger ones though so didn't know, lol! It's the same with the Aussies actually come to think of it, small work, but big don't. Easy to get caught out that way!

    hiya everyone,

In my asda today I had a sa who is lovely and has always accepted my vouchers with no problems. Normally if we both go we take 2 shops and go to different tills and have had no problem when we have done this. Today we decided to go to the same till, so 4 shops with vouchers. The sa was fine but the sv took the vouchers once i had paid i think to check them. This is the first time anything has happened to me and it was not a problem for me as the vouchers went through fine and I was on my way.

The vouchers the sv went to 'check' were all from different shops (sweets/hair/coke/robinsons) so im not sure if any problems would occur because of this.

I just thought I would let you know. xxx
  • Its funny you should say that.
I posted last night to say I'd bought 3 tropicana but only was charged for
    2. I had another look at my receipt before bed and saw that id been charged once for drink at £1.25. The barcode matched a single bottle, which made me think. The SA was having trouble scanning one of the tropicanas and i said to use the one just scanned, but she fiddled with the wrapper, it scanned and I forgot about it.

The barcode is on the bottom. No wrapper fiddling required.
    It's deliberate.
    Use SS for Tropicana!

Yes I thought it really weird for it to happen on all 4 seperate shops. I mean I could understand 1 or 2 but all 4

So beware everyone who's off for the tropicana. Check that it shows as full price before you pay and if not get the SA to void and re enter the item again. :)

Afternoon everyone. Been arranging my stash in the shed. I hate that the Heinz 5 Beans won't stack. :( Hat to cut some MDF to stack the Ketchup. Noticed that I need even more space now!

Messed this morning's shops up by combining cheese and Dental Do'h! :o Even the true Elite get it wrong lol! :rotfl: ALso did 5 shops with two tins of Beans on each shop and forgot the vouchers on three of the 5 shops lol! :o:rotfl::eek:

Good luck out there guys, it can be tough.
Ring HO and get your store retrained. You'll then be free to get whatever you want whenever you want until the glitch is fixed.

[...] SO BE CAREFUL and dont spoil it for everyone
Do you really think that a promotion with 5 x £10 is going to be flagged any less than 1 x £50. SADA know what's going on they just can't fix it at present. Fill your boots.

    No need

Its obvious that there are 2 opinions on this and trying to get people to move from one side to the other is a waste of time/effort/breath. Opinions have been made time and again and I'm sure people have firmly picked a side they are happy with by now

We all have different lines and we all have to deal with whatever change comes (if it comes, A's might just swallow this whole cost so as not to suffer the embarrassment of admitting they messed up)
Thank you for taking the time to reply. I agree with your sentiments. I do so hope they choose to swallow this as I'd love to have 10% off my shopping forever. I never really looked into the promo but the OH has now got a job at Mr A's lol (and MR T's!) :rotfl: so with her 10% and the 10% APG, bit of a result!

Freaked out now re the troutings, think I will be adding an item of clothing to my shops to reduce the voucher size from yesterday's disasters
Although I'm a !!!!!! for losing receipts so maybe not a good idea
I've lost an £18 one. So gutted. Have the voucher but no receipt!
