  • I used a £29 one yesterday with no problem, have used £31 and £34 with no difficulties. I am just saying this to reassure people you do not always get problems, no need to shoot me down for not staying under the radar!

Ok, I'm going to have to admit defeat, I just can't keep up anymore, and tbh I'm not really in the mood. So apologies for not using the thanks, I've skimmed through, and I hope all is well with you all.

For anyone interested in the plight of the dolphins and pilot whales in Taiji - all the whales that weren't taken to captivity have now been slaughtered. The only consolation is at least these beautiful creatures are no longer suffering. So angry and so sad  :(

Not a good day today, I don't think it helps as tomorrow it would be my Grandad's 92nd Birthday, I am feeling very low, and would give anything to be able to say Happy Birthday to him and feel his arms around me - and to hear him call me preshka (precious) like he always did, I keep playing it over in my head :o.
Anyway, sorry for being on a downer, hope to catch up with you all soon :(
:grouphug: Magicowen, I missed your post, but wanted to say, that you are not alone and I will be thinking of you.
It's many years ago, but it feels like yesterday when I lost my grandma and my granddads to cancer:( and they were the people who always loved me without wanting me to change or be someone else ( like my mum - for example:D) :o And always there for me - without exception:A
For years my birthday wish was only two words "time machine@, so to have only few more days or hours with my grandma in her beautiful garden, smelling of red roses:A:) We used to sit on the stairs of the house for hours, looking at the cats playing and chatting, while
drinking lemonade and having her famous chocolate cake:o

Looking back now I am really lucky to have had them in my life:A and I could only wish, that I will give just the same love to my kids:o
...reality is a point of view...

Morning. You know when you get your 8+ fillers and it's like one apple, one onion etc., do you put these in bags or just leave them loose. I do that for oranges, bananas, jacket potato but somehow feel I have to get at least 2 apples, 2 onions and put them in bags. Would be interested to see if others just get one apple, one onion and dont bother with the plastic bags (seems wasteful to me lol).

    TIA
I leave them loose putting them in a bag makes them heavier :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Shop one - A vs T
    Shop two - A vs W
    And then repeat :j:j:j
    & now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Good morning:D
Yesterday, as promised, I went to T's, so few "good" deals there for me :):
    8 Wine glasses - 2packs for £4
    8 highball glasses - 2packs for£4
Tiptree Apricot, Strawberry Jams - RTC £0.44
    Simoniz Car Wax - £0.60

No Olympic toys :(:(:(, but few good whoopsies, so overall pleased with my shopping:)
    :

I got a few of the 60p car washes. Then misery guts moaned that he would have to wash his car himself rather than take it to asda :rotfl:

I don't like the car wash there and get a bit freaked out by it so I just go into asda while he does the car wash. Think I may have shot myself in the foot a bit there :o

I just wanted to say thank you to Tyroledancer, Tinyshoes, TrulyMadly, nahteb20, fudgecake, lokitty, mutleymuppet, Tonik, 3dogs, Kadison, lesleyanderson and Wackynut
    Apologies if I missed anyone!
All your words meant so much to me as I awoke this morning after having a dream he was still here and felt so down, but reading through what you all wrote really made me smile.. thank you :A

You're making me focus on the good things - especially as my Grandad has two birthdays!! His Polish name day! He always had two celebrations as he could never remember which was his actual birthday - or so he claimed! :rotfl:

I will be off to visit his grave later, which is a beautiful place so will be calming and peaceful on a sunny day like today. I was going to go to his house but I think that will just upset me.
And then, my treat to myself will be a bottle of Polish Cherry Vodka, so I can have a little toast!:D

Thanks again, today could have turned out very different if I hadn't come on here and read your words, you lot truly are amazing :A

Just wanted to share a little poem I have for my Grandad today...

I'll whisper a little prayer today
    Asking everyone up above
To sing you a Happy Birthday song
And give you all my love.

    Kocham Cię!
    xx

That is so lovely. Thinking of you today xx

That looks ok but if you want to keep your APG under £10 I would seperate your shop so you do one coke and one cheese

My cheese one gave me £13 something and coke £8.50 ish
