lokitty, chin up, you are doing a great job.

Other people just don't get this whole thing so just leave them to it and keep looking after your family.

Have you read any of this thread?

    Or the last one?

Not the last one I'm afraid - only found this one this morning. :o

Went back about 20 or so pages - it moves so fast! Then :othought it wise to start at the beginning. Still lost the plot.

Never mind, I'll go and find the other thread and start from there. Thanks for the tip. :)

I had a major trouting yesterday  after a long and stressful 12.5 hour shift I thought I would pop into Mr a on my way home for some stress relief. When I handed over my 12.00 odd voucher a supervisor was called who very nicely explained that they had had had some issues with the vouchers and she would have to call someone else
Well, along comes another lady who very politely takes my apg and spies another apg in my hand for 22.00 odd :o:o and off she goes. When she comes back she states that the has looked on the comparisons site and noticed that my shampoo was comparing at 16pence which she said was not right so she refused to let me use them and has photocopied them and will be contacting hq on Monday
I was asked for my name and contact number and she said that she would ring me and let me know if I would be able to use them next week.

I left all my shopping on the conveyor belt as I said if I could not use my vouchers then the only thing I wanted to buy was the toilet roll :o

I was the last person in the shop. I closed at 2200 and because of all this fuss I didn't get out until 22.15!! I am defiantly above the radar now :( and I only have one Mr a anywhere near me :(

Good luck out there guys, it can be tough.

That is horrible for you! Others have reported that they have been trouted like this during the day, store phoned CS and they were told to honour the voucher. It's probably because CS was closed when you shopped. I'd complain though. It was a wasted journey and the store entered the receipt details, could see that the voucher was genuine so should have let you spend it. It is not for the store to judge whether the apg machine has worked correctly or not.

Do you still have your receipts? They are your property and they have no right to take them from you.

I know you say that's the only one near you, but for anyone else who had been trouted like this could use print out more vouchers and use the (unused*) receipt in another store if one was near.

    It's only a game

Sorry to hear this but this will occur a lot more times for other people and not every one will be able to get over it and possibly never use the shop again So I think every one should take note and dont target APGs of high value. I am sure there is a lot of greed involved in getting high value APGs We have all seen it on this thread certain people with their lofts full garages full of products that they will never hardly use i,e large amounts of cheese hairproducts drinks and even 24 bottles of tomatoe ketchup. SO BE CAREFUL and dont spoil it for everyone

:A You are the angel around these parts ;):D:A

    Thank you lovely :A

Yep it's Lupus :( It took a very long time for them to diagnose me. My problems all started when I was 5, I became very anaemic, ended up needing a blood transfusion and for 2 years I went on and off steroids but it would only be a couple of months of not taking them before a relapse and I'd require a massive dose to pick my bloods up.

I was 7 was when all the problems started with my joints and I've been on steroids and a host of different meds since. I went for every test under the sun but nothing was conclusive. By about 10, my medical diagnosis was SLE? :p And then by about 16 they'd decided that was definitely what I had, despite there being no obvious change or confirmation, it's just one of those all encompassing difficult illnesses to diagnose.

Touch wood, I have yet to experience any problems with my kidneys but this is what I live in fear of :( Everything else is, as Mum would say 'up the swanny' so in many ways I feel it's just a waiting game. The steroids have resulted in Osteoporosis, there's the blood clot side of things, the migraines, hormonal inbalances, extremely poor circulation to the point I've often got chillblains/frostbite on my hands and feet and my well documented Anorexia :p:o The problem now is that one action has a negative counteraction on one of my other problems. For example Ibuprofen is like my miracle for migraines but I can only ever take one (not even supposed to do that) because of the Warfarin treatment. At the moment I'm facing a really really difficult decision, could mean life or death and because my history is so complicated, nobody has been in this position before that the professionals can't even provide guidance :( I do try and always have tried to be positive and just get on with it because I really know no different and as your heroic battle with Mr 3Dogs shows, you've got to try and hold your head up high and deal with the cards you've been dealt in the best way possible :A

Methotrexate is a drug Mum's had (she doesn't have Lupus, but another disease which also incidently gives her Rheumatoid Arthritis) but unfortunately her body couldn't tolerate it. I've only recently changed my main Lupus drug (other than the steroids) to something called Mycophenalate :)

So very pleased that my efforts weren't in vain and it's been helping people. That's so wonderful to hear your sis did successful shops woo hoo! :j xxx

Everyday sounds like it must be a struggle for you :( but you also have a great attitude to life and your strength is apparent :)
I too want to add my heart felt thanks to all the time and effort you put into this thread xxx

Hiya. I'm hoping to get hubby to come with me today & get him to do a babyfood shop for the bump due on friday. In order to persuade him to come along i'm planning to do a shop trying out the kopparberg mentioned earlier for him to enjoy afterwards.

Basically i can't remember what times you can buy alcohol on a sunday & wondered if some kind person could remind me please? TIA
