Ok, I'm going to have to admit defeat, I just can't keep up anymore, and tbh I'm not really in the mood. So apologies for not using the thanks, I've skimmed through, and I hope all is well with you all.

For anyone interested in the plight of the dolphins and pilot whales in Taiji - all the whales that weren't taken to captivity have now been slaughtered. The only consolation is at least these beautiful creatures are no longer suffering. So angry and so sad  :(

Not a good day today, I don't think it helps as tomorrow it would be my Grandad's 92nd Birthday, I am feeling very low, and would give anything to be able to say Happy Birthday to him and feel his arms around me - and to hear him call me preshka (precious) like he always did, I keep playing it over in my head :o.
Anyway, sorry for being on a downer, hope to catch up with you all soon :(

    Oh Magic,
I'm so sorry you feel this way. I hope tomorrow brings some sunshine. Love and hugs:)

ok totally OT but i need a moan as it is troubling me very much :(

tonight at about 8/ 8.20pm i was in the ~Newport Pillgwenlly store and as i wondered around i saw a pretty young girl talking on her phone, she was obviously flirting and telling him about how someone who lives by the store set their garden on fire and the fire brigade were outside, she was then giggling away and i could hear the sort of what do you look like questions and then how old are you? she said she was 15 and asked the boy/man on the other end how old he was to which she replied ohh then he must have asked her what she was doing as she replied in asda and i think she said she had her little brother with her..

By this time i was feeling rather sick i so wanted to stop her and tell her to hang up and shouldnt be phoning strangers! but then i would look like i was confronting her or something. its really troubling me, i should have said something. :(
next thing i knew i turned around and she was gone and i couldnt see her anywhere after but i feel so like guilty i should have just said something

Im not from that area and dont know anyone there so theres no hope of like telling her mother and i couldnt really do anything, ive got a 13 year old daughter myself and i hope ahe would never do this type of thing but what if she did i would want someone to tell me! but i cant tell this girls mum.

I know if i said something she probably wouldnt have listened to me and it may well have been a young boy but you hear all kinds of horror stories of bad people who seek children on chat sites and stuff. Its worrying me sick :(

Did 10 shops tonight in 3 hours.. I had a helper tho :) I hit my biggest total shop today! Im so proud!
That's pretty impressive, although I've got my 3 twenty pounders down to about 30 mins which I think is also quite respectable. That is of course if I have no kids with me, my wife has given me a list of exactly what to buy, I actually understand the list, I get the theory of what I have to buy, I know who I am comparing to, one of my favourite sa's is working that day, there are sp conditioners on the shelf, I have a pound coin to pay for parking, there is a y in the day, etc, etc..

However, compared to T's the sa's in A's are amazing. The only issues I have had so far are with language difficulties where a sa told me I could only spend my voucher on fruit and veg?? I do generally choose my sa wisely (if there is one available) and have so far had great experiences with up to three shops on the conveyor belt at once and using multiple vouchers gained from wombles. Although dtd in T's last April was pretty much free (or incredibly cheap), this Asda glitch has a much better feel about it and I am more than happy using 3 twenty pounders at a time now, rather than stick to 5 ten pounders and have to add loads of 'fillers' to each shop to get to 9 or 10 items each time.

I think I'm gonna try this...

Do you just input the details on the App and it tells you the amount I guess? (I haven't downloading the app yet).

I think IIRC then you go to the actual web version on your pc/tablet/mac etc and it doesn't then ask you for the address details...

    Correct?

    Yes, on every count

Nothing wrong with the McCoys - hardly worth the glitch anyway since they're only 94p at S (and match at this) if you buy them 2 at a time

Hi have people been emailing them for a refund on love your body cards from the glitch, I still have 2 that haven't come... Received one already and feel a bit awkward about asking for a refund... But it's getting quite a while now, so was wondering do I complain about both orders in one go and say ' I ordered a few weeks ago and these still haven't arrived, would it be possible for a refund' would that suffice? Sorry am still new at this type of thing! Thanks

Oh no I hate hearing things like this. My DD has just started high school and has been bbm'ing her new friends all weekend and she tells me most of the talk has been about boys....... I soooooo don't want her to grow up too quick and show too much interest in boys!

    Not yet anyway.......
  • oh is this the number 5 please?
