  • With regards to the welcome to newbies, I still am pretty new here, only joined in a couple of weeks ago. I have been made to feel very welcome!

However, I think it helps that I read EVERY POST! This has kinda swallowed up my life over the last week but it means I assimilate the info needed without having to ask 101 questions - and if I DO have a question I try to remember my manners!
I know that some people are a lot more pushed for time than I am so have to skip a lot, and also some people think of a forum more like a 'quick message' place and so will cut out any part of their message that isn't essential, and use text speak etc. Personally I think of it like an ordinary conversation and try to speak as though that's what's happening. I think that helps. :)

Today has been a very frustrating day, what with the endless waiting to hear about the car, the inability to get in on the current glitch, added to which I have had an appeal against a parking ticket rejected and it's plain that they haven't even read my statement of mitigation  and now to top it off I was getting my ebay groove on and the selling part isn't working properly!

Ho hum. tomorrow is another day and there may be a tiger cub among us by morning!
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

Seems to be just in store, buy 1x Chicago town takeaway pizza (not chicken if you want the jtd); and a Haagen Dazs ice cream (not dulche de leche for the jtd) for £5.
If you buy 8 filler items you can submit the receipt Vs Sainbobs for £3.21 jtd back.

I was using a jtd voucher to pay anyway, so not too fussed that the dulche de leche didn't match. If you like this flavour, the pralines and cream matches and tastes very similar.

    that's great thank you :)

Well DS enjoyed his 3rd birthday. He sat and opened all of his presents nicely and has now squeezed himself into bed with his new toys! Was planning to go to A's tomorrow before our weekend in London but been called into work so bang goes that idea. That means no chance of popping to the shops until at least Monday evening!
Feel all partied out now....can't believe my baby is 3
Thank you for the new thread. I have been a member on here for about 5 years I think but only plucked up the courage to start posting on here recently as I thought it was such a friendly place. On the whole, I think it is a wonderfully supportive place and I hope it stays that way :)

Happy birthday to you D/S. Glad he had a lovely day. :)

  • At least we don't need to worry about this getting into Martin's email. :money:
If the Elite make these mistakes what chance to others have of getting it right? :rotfl:

    Hi Czern,

Did you only pay £10 for the 3 head NE shoulders in your first shop.
    Thanks

yes, multibuy showing on the receipt but not on the APG results, so you get paid 4.xxgbp to take them away ;)

    thanks to OP! :T

Trying hard to keep up, but finding it difficult, just wondered if anyone had Liquorice Allsorts comparing like the Wine Guns. I note the Jelly Babies are coming back N/A.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this thread, must try to get more involved, but time is of the essence.

Liquorice Allsorts compared for me. :)

I think the low fat is ok. The traditional one with sultanas definitely isn't. (Why did they have to print "with sultanas" in minute letters?)
