Green Banana's?

Options
Hi All
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for green bananas, they have been sat in my fruit bowl for a week and not a spot of yellow on them at all. Is there anything I can make with them?

Thanks so much xx

    Thats true, Pigpen.

Ripe bananas shouldn't be kept in the fruit bowl as they turn other fruit, in this case a ripe banana is what you want.

So not in the spirit of MSE I'm going to recommend buying a banana :D but not false economy as it will save the others, so perhaps it is in the spirit of MSE after all :D

  • I found the green ones will ripen faster if kept in the clear plastic bag.

Slightly off topic but my tomatos on the plant won't turn red, I remember the trick with placing bananas near the plants in the greenhouse but can't remember if its the whole banana or just the peel.
