Timescales for refunds on resale tickets

Hi All,
I resold some paralympic tickets and they were posted back early August (and signed for so I know they reached their destination) but I've heard nothing since and the refund hasn't turned up in my account.
I'm just wondering how long others have waited for the refund to turn up? Do they contact you at all to confirm receipt of the tickets and let you know when to expect to see the money or does it just eventually turn up in your account one day? At what point should I stop patiently waiting and start asking questions??

There's a thread about this somewhere. Some people have had emails and some not - it will be on your account as something like https://www.london2012.com0

Did you receive confirmation via e-mail that they resold? If so, they should refund you within 28 days of receipt as per their website.
I would suggest sending them an email to remind them of this stating it has been 28 days since they were resold and they have had the tickets back.
I really feel for you as I'm having similar problems also and waiting for a refund. Whilst they are quick to take money, they are not so quick at giving it back and it appears you really have to fight for it.
I fought over a delivery charge (paid for tickets which never arrived and forced to pay for travel to pick up from the box office) with them via e-mail only to receive an incompetent imbecile on the other end of the e-mail who stated that my tickets which were purchased on Thursday 23rd August 2012 were, infact delivered, a week prior to the purchase on Thursday 16th August 2012. Hadn't known time travelling exists where I can pay for tickets delivered to me a week earlier, a week later. I particularly loved the sentence where she wrote "We will not refund you for delivery." Of course, after highlighting her idiotic response that tickets purchased a week later cannot possibly be delivered a week later resulted in a slightly more efficient response although no apology was made for the error.0 -
Thank you both - I got an email within about 24 hours of putting them up for re-sale saying that they had both sold and giving the instructions for returning them. I've followed the instructions to the letter so hopefully the refund will turn up. I've double checked the tracker on Royal Mail and I think tomorrow is day 28 since they were signed for so I'll re-check my account and if the money hasn't turned up I'll start to chase them.
I hope they've sorted out your problems rummy!Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0
