Commission Payments on Resignation

Good afternoon,

I'm hoping that there may be an employment law expert out there or someone who has had a similar experience at least.

I have recently resigned from my job and I'm starting a job at a different company in a few weeks. I have a commission payment due to me at the end of this month, from the enquiries I made prior to resignation the payment will still be made. The commission is long overdue, some of it dates back to November 2011. My managers behaviour is now concerning me. If possible please could anybody let me know what rights (if any) I have here?

Check you contract of employment, some companies specify that you still have to be in employment with them on the date it is to be paid, otherwise you get nothing.
  • Thank you, I should have mentioned its not in my contract as it changed mid way through my employment (couldn't claim commission previously). My leaving date is pay day and when the commission is due, hopefully it goes through....
