Hi all,
I went to see an independant mortgage advisor about remortgaging. I've only got £33,000 left to pay over 15 years. I've also got a loan, credit cards debts of about £9,000. On the plus side I've got share options coming out over the next 2 years to a value of over £10,000. He advised me to get a mortgage of £42,000 to pay everything off and to use the share money to make overpayments to pay off the mortgage to just 7 years.
Is this good advice???
Thanks for any replies or advice.

No-one here can give advice. The mortgage adviser you have seen can. All we can do is make comments based on 4 lines of text you have made. Unlike the mortgage adviser who has the full information. Thanks for any replies or advice.
My opinoon is the same as above. Seems fine.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
