Mattress and Divan?

With all the bed places, tesco and other places to buy a bed, I feel confused because I know that a lot of places mark their beds WAY up and then try to make it seem like you are getting a bargain.

I also read on hukd, that Tesco beds are bad quality.

I am not expecting luxury, but would like to avoid 'I slept on a plank' back, too.

I would like to buy a large double or king size bed, with a divan base, AND mattress. No fancy headboard or anything, but with storage drawers if possible.

Can anyone state definitively, the best place to buy a bed for a real and true price without haggling?

Would say £350.00 for the lot be too little to expect to pay?

Thank you in advance!

  • Hmmm having the same problem - Seems like its all in the springs. wondering whether 325 springs is enough (thats standard) can't find a small double for around £200 - needs to be divan as no room in the room.

Look at ebay- they have some of those gas lifting ones that look ok
Flying Donkeys- Do no harm to others and you will benefit in more ways than one.

No idea. I think you can go to your local bed store to try out?
