Expired Cake Mix?

I bought some reduced fresh cake mix last week, it has a use by date of 27 August. Do you think it would be safe to eat? The only things in it that I can see being a problem is egg (which I find tends to last longer than they ever say anyway...) and milk. It's this stuff:

Not just dried stuff. It smells fine, but I don't want to make anyone ill!

I personally would go for it but I'm a eat all dates. I opened a tasted a tin that went out of date in 1996 the other day...0

Just looked it up on their web site and the ingredients are
Caster Sugar,Water ,Wheat Flour ,Pasteurised Whole Free Range Egg ,Unsalted Butter ,Vegetable Oil ,Fat Reduced Cocoa Powder , Raising Agents (Sodium Bicarbonate, Disodium Diphosphate) ,Natural Vanilla Flavour ,Salt.
No mention of milk and the egg has been Pasteurised so should last longer than stated. The use by date is just the least amount of time the product will last, it doesn't mean it will go off the next day (or week).0 -
Id cook and seeSave, save, save, save.0
