Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V2055 laptop for £289

This is from MISCO, who are reliable and I think may even have a Quidco link.

Seems a good deal to me. Price is £328.99 inc VAT after a £40 off mail-in rebate.

Spec is

Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V2055 Intel Celeron M 420 1.6GHz / 15.4 WXGA / 256MB / 40GB / Combo / XP Home / Laptop / Notebook

What do you think?

The price is £329 plus min £5 delivery = £334, not the price of £289 you indicated. Could you change the title of your post, please?

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper
Price £279.99 ex VAT less £40 Fujitsu Siemens Cashback (mail in rebate)

    279 + vat = 327
    327 - 40 = 287

    + any delivery etc

If i read the rebate box on the misco site correctly - the rebate is direct with Fujitsu (?) after purchase from misco

    I think ?

Misco site says offer valid thru march, but linked site says till 30th april

Not wanting to spark a big debate about good/bad specs but this is a pretty lowly spec (CPU, RAM, and hard drive all old-specs) and I'd look at the other Grabbit thread for Dell at £330 or so as well and make up your mind.

As always, great for basic stuff e.g. email/internet, maybe not so for more powerful apps/doing many things at once.

£289 not a bad deal if it'll do you - and save bit more using QuidCo as well... should pay for the delivery!
