Many thanks for all of your good wishes and support I have just got back from a meeting at the hospital with our social worker and he says that providing that occupational therapy give my flat the Ok that he will do everything in his power to get Alice back home with me asap

the only problem is that because she has lost her mobility she has developed 2 pressure sores 1 on her heel and 1 on her bottom which means that she won't be able to sleep for more than 4 hours on any part of her body and will have to be physically turned every 4 hours

he also said that if needs be and that if we have the room he will be able to get us a full hospitable airbed to try and stop the pressure sores from worsening and an air cushion for her chair as well

so fingers crossed her urinary tract infection is beginning to respond to anti-biotics and her sodium levels appear to be stabilising she might be medically fit and if the OT assessment goes to plan god willing she will be back home again sometime soon

I know that when Alice comes home that it won't be easy for both of us but at least we will both be happy again, and this is how I want the story of our fantastic life together to end
