That's it, I'm blocking Australia again

Another email over night accusing me of being a terrible seller as I have knowingly and wantonly sent them a damaged item and unless I 'DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT IMMEDIATELY they will tell ebay and my account will be at risk as ebay needs to get rid of people like me who think they can cheat their buyers.
This item is not glass or china, hardly breakable at all, imagine something like a picture frame where one of the clips holding the back on has come loose in transit and needs to be clipped back on again- that;s it, that's the wanton damage.
In the past few months i have had terrible trouble with two Australian buyers accusing me of scamming them and not sending my goods, one was less than 2 weeks from payment. Both went straight to an ebay claim stating I was not responding. One had not contacted me at all and the other had emailed me 10 minutes before opening the claim. Obviously I refunded those two and in fairness one did reply later (week 3 ) saying the item had arrived and they re paid. Neither left feedback, for which I was grateful.
Things happen but I cannot take the rudeness and the arrogant manner in which they assume I am somehow targetting them to scam.I had blocked Australia for a while after the last two issues, but then allowed them again, and now this.
I'm feeling very grumpy today

Ha!
I had a few cups of tea and calmed down a bit and have responded to buyer explaining how to clip the loose bit back again, but suggesting that if she is unable to do that (and I tried not to be sarcastic) I would refund the item cost only to enable her to pay someone to help her do it. If she didn't want to do this then obviously the item can be returned for a full refund as I cna replace the loose bit and resell it myself.
Normally I just refund in full and tell them to keep it, but I have had enough.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I recently had a customer telling me that she had bought two identical items and they were NOT the same. She informed me of her rights and told me all she was going to do to me. When she calmed down I politely told her that it is possible that they look different in their packaging but were indeed identical if she opened them.
She was still ranting and letting me know she was returning them, I just repeated myself and have never heard from her again.
This was an Amazon customer and have just had a similar experience with an Amazon customer. We tend to lump things together in our mind, so I now have a downer on Amazon. Rationally it isn't all Australians or Amazon buyers but people, there are a few nuisances around, they just tend to clump together every so often:p.0 -
RFW, I know you are right but I am just grumpy at the moment. I sell a lot to Australia, so 3 problems in about 10 weeks is not a massive percentage, it's just that most people manage to ask politely where their item is. I can't understand the rudeness and ignorance of people who assume that there has to be a scam somewhere.
Although maybe I shouldn't be surprised as we do seem to get threads on here where every buyer claiming a lost parcel is 'obviously a scammer' .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I've just had an Australian problem. A buyer has just contacted me, after just under 3 months to say that they have not received their item. Can I still claim from the post office? Item was sent normal airmail.0

Watch your stars get hammered.
Its NOT a fair system.
You (Soolin) do everything you possibly can to help your buyers, and you sell quality products. And yet stars STILL get trashed from time to time.
So, therefore I think stars are completely unfair.0 -
I can't understand the rudeness and ignorance of people who assume that there has to be a scam somewhere.
Its a bit like the thing where if we are driving, then its very easy to aggresively beep the horn if someone does something stupid in the car in front. Its very easy to forget theres an actual live person driving that car. If someone takes a bit longer than they should at the cashpoint, we don't start making loud beeping noises then, as we can see its a real human and make allowances.
I think the same thing happens on eBay. Buyers forget that a real person receives the messages they send, and acts accordingly as to how the message has been written. I've had many a rude message (which I help, but begrudgingly), and I've had many a happy message asking for help, not demanding it, and I couldn't do more to help this type of person.
So those people who send aggresive argumentative unhappy messages are actually only causing themselves to get worse service.0 -

I have a claim form in front of me for an international claim, it says all claims must be submitted by the sender within 6 months of posting the item...0 -
That's good. So I can refund and still claim off the PO.0
