  • I've only took up comping seriously as a hobby in the last 6 weeks or so and have had quite a few small wins in that time but my best win had to be a few years back when I wasn't comping.

I was using MyVoice, a survey site to earn a few extra bucks to spend on Uni books etc. If you get screened out of a survey, they enter you into a prize draw but I didn't think much of it and wasn't doing the surveys in the hope of winning the prize draw, but I won it! It was a cheque for £1000 as the prize and that was about 10 years ago now so was a fair amount of money.

I was in my first year of Uni and was working part time earning minimum wage to keep my head above water. I remember before I won that I was feeling hugely rich if I had £50 in my bank account and suddenly I had over £1000. I was sensible with it, though, and didn't drink it away as some students would have! Lol.
  • I have been comping since I was a kid - but I really got into it when I was on maternity leave 4 years ago.... too much time on my hands whilst breastfeeding my little guy. So i would do online comps. haha

My BIGGEST win, a holiday for 2 to Austrailia!! That was an itv daybreak win. Flipping amazing!!!

Been comping since end of April, and as my sig says, biggest win was..
The Converse Plan B gig, didn't realise the size of the prize at first, thought it was just tickets to the 100 Club, but included my £90 train fare, a £560 hotel room, £200 of Converse gear, not sure what the tickets would of been worth due to its exclusiveness

Added bonus was bumped into Dynamo at the gig, Jaime Winstone, and Plan B at the hotel, girlfriend loved playing at being rich for the day
  • My biggest win has been 4 tickets to T in the Park this year, plus 4 sleeping bags, a tent & also wristbands to get into the posh bit.
Worth about £1,000 and was a great experience :)
(even if one of the tickets didn't get used - no-one would take it off me!)

I've been comping since April this year and I love it :j

A years supply of coffee along with a chq for 4k .. I'm still in shock, I couldn't bank the cheque for days as I had to keep looking at it to believe it lol

even more astounding as I only enter about 5 comps a day now, if that
A heap big thank you to everyone who posts the comps, your all stars!

I have been comping for about 2.5 years on and off (off when I'm more busy offline!). My biggest win was thanks to Weeowens, and was a trip to Scotland. It included flights, a hire car and a stay in an absolutely beautiful apartment in the Scottish highlands. My second best ever holiday after the honeymoon ;)
  • I won a Spa day for two :)
That was from ITV comp :)
 Thank you to everyone!

 Officially addicted to Comping
  • In 2007 I won £10,000 on the Deal or No Deal viewer comp. They allowed 30 free online entries each day while the program was on air. Noel Edmunds asked an audience member at the end of the show to pick a number between 1 & 3 and the amount in the viewer comp box with that number was awarded to the lucky winner announced right then on the screen. The three possible amounts varied - mostly £2000, £3000, £5000. I watched one day when the maximum amount was £10,000. That box was chosen and I then saw my name on the screen. Within ten minutes I had a phone call asking if I had entered the competition, congratulating me and telling me the cheque was being posted. Quite soon after that the viewer comp was discontinued.
