You could perhaps apply to the access to learning fund it is a non repayable grant given to students who are in financial difficulty. You should be able to search for it on your uni website.
Do you get a student loan/bursary/grant?

Running a car on your present income is just not worth it. It would be cheaper to take a taxi every few weeks to see your family or get public transport or even get them to visit you. Its costing you about a third of your income if you include reapirs, Mot etc.

    hello there and welcome,
your numbers are really small, if you don't bury your head in the sand and tackle the situation, you'll be able to pay it all off in a short time, so don't despair!
If you could find a job that'll make a big difference. Be sensible with your spending, cancel sky as soon as you can, forget about the 100/month on presents, keep a spending diary, also check if there's a car club where you live and you'll see you'll be fine :-)

    best of luck

Is there no family to support you? I would be terribly upset if you were my child, and you didn't come and ask for help when the debt figure is still 'relatively' small...

That said as others have mentioned there are a couple of areas of SOA that look like yearly figures in as monthly. Surely your car tax isn't 840 pounds a year? That is more than the car is worth.

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
