okay to try and write a life story here is impossible but in short my husband was declared bankrupt over 3 years ago he was dicharged over 2 years ago, i have not been declared bankrupt and manage my debts okay, he was declared bankrupt through company going under and is now in stable employment we have not applied as yet but thanks to my parents has a healthy deposit around 25%, is this impossible? he has had no credit since being bankrupt and we are wary of trying as know this can affect you further?
any help appreciated?0 -

Hi,
looking for some advice please, sorry if posted in wrong place, i am on a payment plan with step change and every thing is going fine, but due to my low income i can only afford £55 per month to wards my debts, I have worked it out that i will be 85 before i am debt free i am currently 44,having looked at Dro's and Bankruptcy,i am just wondering if this would be better for me i know a lot of people will say pay what you owe and i would love nothing more than to pay my debts off,but having no life is really stressing me out.
I dont want expensive holidays and nights out just a chance to meet with friends every know and again for a coffee and catch up would be great.
thanks for any advice.
