Probably not saving at all, there must be a point where people on low incomes are contributing to a pension that will cancel out benefits that they would have received anyway.
Yes correct - seems like rather an unambitous way to 'plan' for along and happy retirement though.
I'm not one for quotes but here's two I can think of:

"aim for the stars and you might reach the sky"0 -

It will take a good Conservative Goverment to sort this mess out!
This is perhaps a demonstration of how his mind works

As Billy Connolly once said:-
Don't vote - it just encourages them.
How right he was. Does anybody really believe for one moment that George Osborne would reinstate the £100,000,000,000 that Gordy has robbed us all of our pensions?
And anybody who believes that Cameron's so-called 'green' credentials are anything more than a sweetener to allow him to raise future taxes on properties which are not built of synthetic energy-efficient material which produce their own fuel is sadly mistaken...
Brown's most memorable c0ck-up may be the pensions scandal which has become the media darling of the past week (unless you happen to be interested in a bunch of 15 half-wits in a boat), but his biggest legacy in the stupidity stakes certainly has to be PFI - this is something that we'll be paying for for many years to come.
[Tony] Mmmm - a hospital for £100m or £3.5bn anybody?
[Gordy] I think it would be prudent to shell out £50m now, then £3.5bn over the next 30 years - what do you think Tony?.
[Tony] I think you're an idiot Gordon, but let's do it anyway - the buffoons in voter-land won't notice and we can gag the press with some nonsense about Peter Mandelson. Possibly.Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000

Some of those half-wits have made a small fortune from newspapers and they all received a very nice shiny suit to go home in. It won't be long until at least one of them turns up on Celebrity Big Brother.0 -

Just the one of them? I wouldn't put it past Endemol to include all 15 of them in some show or other...wotsthat wrote:It won't be long until at least one of them turns up on Celebrity Big Brother.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
