Value food isn't automatically less nutritious but subbing any kind of noodles for veg is less nutritious. If you live on 11p noodles all the time you won't be healthy.

I have a pretty good diet. Just add those noodles to soups and lentils, various other things etc from time to time, i find them perfectly acceptable for doing that.

What do you think about this, link,
    1. Canned Tomatoes
The expert: Fredrick vom Saal, PhD, an endocrinologist at the University of Missouri who studies bisphenol-A
The problem: The resin linings of tin cans contain bisphenol-A, a synthetic estrogen that has been linked to ailments ranging from reproductive problems to heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. Unfortunately, acidity (a prominent characteristic of tomatoes) causes BPA to leach into your food. Studies show that the BPA in most people's body exceeds the amount that suppresses sperm production or causes chromosomal damage to the eggs of animals. "You can get 50 mcg of BPA per liter out of a tomato can, and that's a level that is going to impact people, particularly the young," says vom Saal. "I won't go near canned tomatoes."
The solution: Choose tomatoes in glass bottles (which do not need resin linings), such as the brands Bionaturae and Coluccio. You can also get several types in Tetra Pak boxes, like Trader Joe's and Pomi.

Its talking about the tins lined with a white plastic looking substance; which most tins are in the US. In the UK very few tins are lined and so we don't have this problem xx

Canned sweetcorn usually has a white lining. In the US Heinz has admitted using the stuff.

It's 3 years old, and if you google "Frederick vom Saal you get a completely different picture."

Some value biscuits have lower calories, sugars or fat than the normal. This one has all three. Sainsburys Basics custard creams for 1 biscuit has 56 calories, 3.2g sugars and 2.6g fat. Their normal ones have 59 calories, 3.5g sugar and 2.8g fat.

    Thanks for mentioning that.
It isn't just the amount per biscuit which is lower for the Basics version, it is also the case per 100g. That is, the difference doesn't arise from having smaller biscuits.
