apologies I read the whole thread the first time but not the 2nd time looking for a location.

Irlam was my first call as they normally have bucket loads of stuff like this piled high. I used to go to Irlam 3 times a week during my r+r days.

I have a Sagem PVR72800 it's not too bad apart from incorrect tv guides and the fact that it has a twin tuner but you cannot record 2 channels at once.

I've had one of these 6280s for almost two years. teething problems it had. sagem sorted them through over-the-air software updates and it is now excellent. for under £40 it is an amazing bargain.

Yeah, I think the OP was lucky to get one (albeit a display model). No doubt the Tesco staff would have had these put aside for themselves, and by everyone ringing up to enquire about them they will have been alerted as to the fact they're such a bargain if they weren't aware already.
