Evening all

Can't Believe tomorrow is the start of the last week of school before Xmas, the kids should have great fun they usually take it easy the last week get to play games watch films and they have Christmas concert onfriday so I get to hear all the songs they have been practicing for weeks.

Getting all excited for Christmas here now and I think most stuff in place just some wrapping and last minute stuf to sort

thanks hun, didn't end up going out, turns out our comet has already closed. we've been doggy sitting the inlaws Chihuahua whilst they've been on a luxury cruise in the carribean. well the wee doggy didn't leave my side for the 24hrs i was at my worst. he stayed in bed with me, must have sensed i was ill, awwh.

forgot to say went for a lie down as feeling yuck and had a headache, hubby was in bed already, after a while the door goes, decide to ignore it, then it goes again, and again banging the door down. we decide it must be the inlaws deciding to pick the dog up early as the door knocker was so persistent. open the door to find a bloke with a red and white box in his hands, who then proffers it to me. i go to take it (whilst half asleep & confused) thinking it must be a parcel then smell the food and realise it's a takeaway. we don't buy takeaways but next door does. turns out he's confused us as we are 6 and they are 6a, but he didn't believe me at first as he thought it was for no. 6. bloody eejit:mad:

Posting quickly as I know when day starts will not get the chance to come on again why oh why are the days so short.

Just a really big thanks:A:beer: for all the help with the sweet cinema codes (you all know who you are) all 4 of us went to see The Hobbit yesterday then Nandos afterwards so for a change No A's or T's shops DH was pleased :rotfl:. DH and I were going to see Life of Pi which I think may have been a better option:D as the Hobbit was a really long long film and not really our kind of film. Anyways DH & I kept looking at each other and saying how can all 14 still be intact with all them foes and enemies how far fetched is that, told you wasted on us:o:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but both DS's are loving it:rotfl: . It was a nice bit of calm amongst the stress of Christmas Prep:beer:

jax it trully is very upsetting what has happened to them teachers and children, words just fail you and such deep saddness. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:( SO So hard for them parents to pick up the pieces and carry on with living it is so heartbreaking:A:A:A

For Chardonnay sorry to hear you have had the dreaded norovirus:(:(:( sounds like you are on the mend now:) but would head CM advice and take it easy for the next 48 hours after. It was on the news they reckon this is going to be the worst outbreak so far and to warn people to stay away from work until atleast 48 hours after feeling well and for even families to limit contact using seperate towels etc to limit the spread as much as possible.


For anyone else feeling not so great either sending warm ((((HUGGS))))

Now sorry:( have to get back to wrapping presants and making a list of what we are actually having to eat on Christmas day so can plan food shopping.

Haven't wrote any cards this year and just don't think will get the time:(. But we have got the tree and decs up :j
